Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Residential Counselor (RC) to become a part of our empathetic care giving PER DIEM team. Under the direct supervision of the designated Head Nurse, the RC demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the direct care supervision and participates in the evaluation of patient safety and illness. o Provide vigilant supervision to clients at all times to ensure their safety and well-being. o Promptly and effectively respond to client injuries or illnesses, collaborating with Registered Nurses or medical professionals for appropriate guidance. o Assist with transportation of clients to appointments, utilizing facility-provided vehicles, ensuringpunctuality and comfort. o Prepare nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks for clients, adhering to dietary guidelines and individual preferences. o Engage clients in a variety of recreational activities, including arts & crafts, board games, and diverseindoor/outdoor pursuits, fostering a stimulating and enjoyable environment. o Oversee and support therapeutic activities and check-ins, contributing to the therapeutic process and client progress. o Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other team members, providing assistance as directed to ensure comprehensive client care. o Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for clients, including attending to patient cleaning needs and facility upkeep. o Manage laundry responsibilities, ensuring that clients' clothing and linens are maintained in a clean and organized manner. o Administer medications, if certified under the Medication Administration Program (MAP), with careful attention to proper procedures and documentation.Requirements:
o High School Diploma o CPR Certification o 6 months of Healthcare experience Recommended Skills Cpr Coaching And Mentoring Punctuality Receptive Health Care Diseases And Disorders Apply to this job.
