Responsibilities Responsible for the supervision of the sales operations and personnel.
Promote an atmosphere that fosters friendly and efficient service for our guests.
Handle incoming sales calls for groups of five or more and individuals for stays of 20 nights or more.
Qualify business and pass off to sales managers for potential business of 20 nights or more.
Inspect model suites and VIP suites.
Do all impromptu tours.
Qualify business and pass off to sales manager for potential business of 20 nights or more.
Track and follow up on all group rooming lists.
Type and track contracts for rooms.
Follow up on receipt of guarantees and rooming lists.
Handle booking and contracting of meeting rooms.
Order catering, A/V.
Responsible for all billing and coding of payables.
& budget Weekly and monthly reports and submission to corporate office Order and maintain proper sales collateral and gift supplies Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in accounting, marketing, or related field or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Team oriented person who can focus on the detail.
Efficient and well organized.
Knowledge and experience with hotel accounting principles is a huge bonus! Must be able to carry, lift, pull, push up to 50 lbs.
