Lab Pack Field Chemist II

About You
The person we're looking for is independent, self-motivated and has the ability to stay organized and focused. You like working in a fast-paced environment, whether you're working independently or as part of a team. You like interacting with customers regardless of location or setting (it's something new every day)! Your desire to learn and grow keeps you on the cutting edge of the industry.
Day in the Life
After grabbing your favorite morning beverage alongside your colleagues, you can expect to:
Meet with the Lab Pack manager to review the day's work
Grab your Job folder and meet with colleagues
Travel to the customer facility
Meet and greet the customer onsite to review the job
Identify and segregate the chemicals
Provide assistance on new bulk streams
Work with the customer to help characterize the waste
Identify any work changes or additional materials
Prepare inventories of the materials, package it into containers and produce the shipping documents
Get the proper signatures, load up and secure your containers, and transport the waste from the customer site to the transfer facility.
Help offload the waste once returned, and restock your truck with supplies
Scan and send all documents to customer service
Perform other related duties as assigned
What you need to apply
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Knowledge of basic chemistry
Knowledge of RCRA (Resource Conservation Act) as it relates to waste characterization and waste processing protocols, and familiarity with DOT (Department of Transportation Regulations)
Strong computer skills
Fewer than 3 driving violations in the past 3 years
The desire to obtain a CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
