Business Development Manager

About You
You have a knack for identifying the required work for a job, and then costing it appropriately. Your strong communication skills and experience enable you to be in front of customers, or act as a liaison between sales teams, operations and customers. You are a service oriented self-starter who has a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the environmental services industry.
Day in the Life
Each day will bring a new experience, supporting US Ecology's Boston Office by:
Visiting customer locations to analyze jobs and assist in sales presentations
Supporting operations and sales by preparing and providing technical job estimates
Managing preparation of RFP responses for field service, lab pack and HHW opportunities
Interacting with customers, sales, operations, and customer service to ensure the timely flow of information
Maintaining reports on bid opportunities utilizing CRM
Providing operational support for various projects and new initiatives
What you need to apply
Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, biology, chemistry, a related field, or an equivalent combinations of education and experience
5+ years of experience in transportation, recycling, hazardous waste treatment and disposal, chemistry, or a related industry
Working knowledge of RCRA, DOT, TSCA and other applicable regulations
A customer-service focus
Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
Preferred
Experience working as a Lab pack Chemist
Two years + sales background

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
